This place is located in a beautiful historic building, with friendly and welcoming staff who keep everything clean and tidy, and our room on an upper floor was spacious.

King room was with an electronic key card, a multi-channel TV, and a study table. The staff were incredible and exceptional, no complains at all. The location was central, near to downtown Frankfurt and the mall and great bars👍

The bed was comfortable and clean.
The location was very noisy at night, touch of "red light district", the carpets especially on the stairs, looked very dirty, the room was very smoky, rather bad service.I Cannot recommend this hotel, next time I would prefer the youth hostel next door.

The hotel is situated in a great location near the main shopping area and South train station. The historic building adds character to the place. The room was spacious, with windows overlooking the inner yard.

Nice "Fachwerk-building", many good pubs nearby, and an ashtray at the room!

The daytime manager was incredibly friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. The night staff were also very helpful although their English was more limited. The location is perfect if you want to be in the middle of Sachsenhausen's nightlife; unlike some others, I also found that with the windows closed and good earplugs, I had no trouble sleeping through the craziness if I wanted to. My single room was large but a little cramped because of the sloping ceiling. The bathroom was big and immaculately clean, with a good working shower and nice linens (especially for a cheap hotel). My room had a bed, nightstand with light, full-sized desk, and a closet for clothes: again, well-fitted-out for a small single room. When I asked for extra linens (pillow, bathmat) there was no problem. Overall, a great stay, I would highly recommend it. The building is charming and there are tons of restaurants and bars within a couple of blocks.
If you want a quiet atmosphere or luxury, this is not the place for you. But if you want fun, lots of choices for dinner and nightlife, and a comfortable, clean, well-staffed inexpensive hotel, it's a terrific choice.

Small budget rooms above a noisy area of bars and restaurants. Not suitable for children, and perhaps only if you are a party animal!

The location was magnificent and good, very close to `` funny area '' of Frankfurt. Furthermore, in the historical neighborhood with many pubs. The rooms with a TV, windows to inner yard were spotless.

We highly appreciate the location of the hotel.
I am sorry to inform you that we hever have visited hotel with so much bad management: 1. the fron door is permanently looked; 2. the payment must be only in cash in advance; the window in room No 206 is in shaft; 3. the house is grimy. I intend to write to German turistic chamber and to Municipality of Frankfurt, because this house is monument of the culture and it is inadmissible.

The excellent location. Located in an area of bars, but the noise is not excessive to the point of being impossible to sleep. The receptionist at the reception during the day is an excellent professional, attentive and very friendly. On the other hand the night receptionist is antipatic and fall asleep and not hear the doorbell.
